Supported Living Services
Living Independently, With the Right Support
Supported Living Services (SLS) helps adults with developmental disabilities live in their own home — with personalized, flexible support that fits their life.
What Is Supported Living Services?
Supported Living Services is a regional center funded program that provides individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities who live — or want to live — in their own home or apartment in the community. SLS is built around the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live where and how they choose, with the right supports in place to make that possible.
straightpathsls.comWho Is SLS For?
SLS is for adults with developmental disabilities who are regional center consumers and who choose to live in their own home or apartment in the community — not in a group home or family home. If you want to live on your own but need support to do so safely and successfully, SLS may be the right fit.
Adults with developmental disabilities
You must be an adult (18+) with a developmental disability served by a California Regional Center.
Living or wanting to live independently
SLS supports people who live — or plan to live — in their own home or apartment, separate from family or a group home.
Regional Center consumer
You must be an active regional center consumer. Your Service Coordinator can determine your eligibility and initiate a referral.
