Independent Living Services

Building the Skills to Live Your Life

Independent Living Services (ILS) helps adults with developmental disabilities develop the practical skills they need to live as independently as possible.

What Is Independent Living Services?

Independent Living Services is a regional center funded program that provides training and skill-building support to adults with developmental disabilities. Unlike Supported Living Services, ILS focuses on teaching and developing skills — empowering individuals to do more on their own over time. ILS can be provided in the home, in the community, or wherever the skill is most relevant.
